Really great Caesar salad. Added in Salmon and it was cooked perfectly. They had seasonal decor and it made for warm vibes. Waitstaff was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

Everything here is well thought out and you can really tell it matters. This is our go to spot for a burger when we aren't in a rush and want to sit down and enjoy. Everything we have had though has been awesome! The Caesar salad is sooo good and always fresh and crispy! Chez Nick does an awesome thing of being elegant yet feeling like a neighborhood spot which I love! The servers are always so friendly and we will continue to keep coming back!

The food was good! Wait staff needs to slow down ~ we had numerous people bring us our food / drinks and there were as many spills ~ because they were rushing to put it down.

This place is a great upper east side brunch spot! Cute restaurant, good drinks, and great food. Everything was awesome! Really enjoyed our brunch here. The fries were addicting and the gem Caesar was also great! Service was good too.

The bartender, she was friendly! The food was different but tasty . I had the Salmon.

Ambiance (5/5): There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The inside was a little dark, spaced out, and low volume. There is also high bar top seating. Dog friendly (both indoors and out!) Service (5/5): We were serviced quickly and often. All our orders were prepared as instructed. We shared an entrée and our server asked to have the burger cut in half for us! Brussel Sprouts (5/5): Lovely crisp to a sweet bite of vinaigrette. The pomegranate seeds gave the dish a nice color! Crab Rangoon Dumplings (4/5): The dumplings were on the small side but stuffed with crab meat. The sweet sauce complimented the rich cream cheese taste. My only qualm was that it wasn't as good without the sauce. Roasted Eggplant (5/5): I was a fan of the brown butter sauce. The especially liked the small spice kick of the red peppers and bites of mint! Smash Burger (5/5): Huge fan of their burger!! I loved the flavor of their caramelized onions. I need to know what their special sauce is! Their bun was soft and held the burger well. The fries were cooked well-done upon request and were a lovely crunch. Absolutely loved my dining experience and would come back again for their other dishes

If you're seeking a delightful culinary escapade on the Upper East Side, look no further than Chez Nick's. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance at Chez Nick's is charmingly cozy, making it the perfect spot for an intimate evening with friends. As we settled in, we were immediately drawn to their impressive cocktail selection, everyone in my party enjoyed their drinks! Our culinary journey began with the brussels sprouts and whipped ricotta appetizers, and oh my, the whipped ricotta was a game changer! Creamy, indulgent, and paired with the perfect balance of flavors, it left us craving more. For our mains, I opted for the branzino, and I must say, it was incredibly delicious. Cooked to perfection, and let's not forget about the broccolini on the side, a humble yet very flavorful and enjoyable companion to the star of the dish. Throughout our meal, the service was exemplary, attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

Split verdict on this bustling neighborhood spot. We originally wanted to sit outdoor on the side street, but there was a really loud exhaust fan upsetting the zen. Then we thought that we would dine indoors, but it was too warm in the dining room. We wound up sitting outdoors on York Avenue. The chairs were uncomfortable. We got past it. We got to Nick's for the last night of restaurant week and ir was an excellent deal. We shared the surprisingly good kale salad and the crispy cauliflower. The dip for the cauliflower was at the bottom of the bowl and hard to get to, but was worth the effort. The hangar steak was delicious. The accompaniments were vividly flavored. We shared creme brûlée and a great brownie sundae. The staff were nice but seemed overwhelmed. Out drinks didn't arrive until after our appetizers and they brought out the wrong appetizer for one of us. The food was great. The restaurant wasn't comfortable and the service was befuddled. The food was good enough that I would give them another shot. I'm rounding up a 3.5.
